Welcome to My Franklin Press
The great American inventor, Ben Franklin learned at an early age how important the freedom of speech was to all of us. At the age of twelve Ben Franklin was an apprentice printing the truth in Boston. By the time he was seventeen he was a fully skilled printer.
In 1728, at the age of twenty-two, Ben opened his own printing office in Philadelphia. His most famous publications were a newspaper called The Pennsylvania Gazette and his annual Poor Richard's Almanack.
